Heraclea - A settlement in Thrace also known as Perinthus - Perinthos
Heraclea, the Greek city of Perinthos, later known as Heraclea Thraciae to distinguish it from Heraclea Pontica, is now Eregli in the European part of Turkey.

A Roman mint was established here by Diocletian shortly before his coin reform, and it was in use until the times of Theodosius II.
